Generally not out of line with Catholic doctrine at an all-women Catholic university? Has there been a post-commencement outrage amongst the women present? I listened to most of the address, and I didn't hear any boos or heckling.

Is he not allowed his beliefs and to express them, particularly when he was invited to? Is the university not permitted to invite who it wishes to give its commencement address? I don't agree with everything he said, but I really don't get the pearl-clutching and screaming by everyone else who aren't those women.

(And I'll admit that I got a little choked up when he choked up about giving the girl he met in middle school, later to be his wife, all the credit for him being where he is. That was sweet.)
