Prosecutors Submit Initial Witness List In Arizona Election Interference Case
Source: Meidas Touch
This afternoon, Arizona prosecutors filed their initial witness laying out who may possibly testify against Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and others in the Arizona election interference criminal case. Previously, Giuliani, Meadows, and others pled not guilty to a state indictment that charges them with felony charges related to the false elector scheme in Arizona following the 2020 election.
Today, we learned more about who prosecutors will call to the witness stand if the case ever gets to trial, and the initial list includes several high profile names including former Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and pro-Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro, who previously was indicted in Wisconsin on a similar false elector scheme.
This witness list may be modified as prosecutors proceed with each indivdiaul case against the many defendants, and just because a witness is listed on this initial list does not mean that the witness will testify if the case gets to trial.
