I just got a 2024 Model 3. $38,000 (before the discount, and I also got the NY credit as well) and it's by far the best car that I've ever had.

...but I do think they're overpriced. I know a few folks I work with who only got them because they qualified for the full 7.5K tax deduction, and they all got Model 3s. What is your registration annually in NY? Here in IN, there is an additional $221 tax for EVs. My next car will be an EV, for sure, but I'm going to drive my Grand Cherokee until the wheels fall off. It's been all over Europe with me, so I do have emotional attachment to it.
