Kinzinger says JD Vance's response to shooting should 'disqualify' him from VP consideration

Source: The Hill

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said Sunday Sen. JD Vance’s (R-Ohio) response to the attempted assassination of former President Trump should “disqualify” him from serving as vice president.

Vance, a contender for Trump’s choice of running mate, said in a social media post on Saturday that the shooting was “not some isolated incident” and suggested President Biden’s campaign was, at least in part, at fault.

“The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” Vance said on the social platform X. “That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.” Kinzinger — a former GOP member of Congress who became a frequent Trump critic — responded to Vance’s post, saying, “This should absolutely disqualify @JDVance1 from VP.”

Vance’s statement came just hours after Trump was whisked off the stage of his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, after Trump appeared to be wounded in what authorities are calling an assassination attempt. At the time of Vance’s statement, there was no public reporting on the motive of the shooter or the details surrounding the incident.

I suppose that the only real surprise in the uncoming Fascist Hate Fest is who it is who will become the Turd's V.P. selection. My guess is that the Ohio Asshole, J.D. Vance, will be the one selected. Vance checks all the requisite boxes: 1.) Turd fellator and supremely loyal to the Turd; 2.) Dumber than fuck; .3.) Racist pig; 4.) Hard-core Fascist; 5.) Women Hater; 6.) Evangelical nutcase; 7.) Gun lover and NRA supporter; 8.) Pro-Russia and Pro-Putin; 9.) Authoritarian; 10.) Anti-American Democracy; 11.) Hard-core supporter of their Fascist 2025 agenda; 12.) Full supporter of the extremist CPAC agenda; 13.) Overwhelmingly approved and supported by Fascist American Oligarchs; 14.) Personally selected and approved by Putin; 15.) Anti-Ukraine and supports Russia over Ukraine.

He was financed by mega donors and won his seat with a blitz of commercials that bombarded voters with lies day and night. The machine was so well funded that it was impossible for Ohio Dems to finance the fight against him. He is everything that post #1 says and more. As President he would be deadly!

I think he's dangerously smart. He is a best selling author and graduate of Yale.

Much of what he says doesn't necessarily reflect what he believes, but is part of his orchestrated plan to achieve political power. Before becoming a loyal Trump surrogate, he called Trump an ‘idiot’ and a potential ‘American Hitler’.

Vance in power could be more dangerous than someone like Trump.

There are numerous dim bulbs who have graduated from these overrated schools. I am not just talking about legacy admissions, either.

Ditto for having a bestselling book. Given how the publishing market is set up, one doesn't get published on the basis of "merit."

He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in political science and philosophy. He didn't have money or legacy to get into Yale. He may be a snake, but I still contend that he is a "smart" snake and dangerous.

If Trump chooses Vance as his VP, I would be surprised. Trump has street smarts and I'd think he would know that Vance is too ambitious and can't be trusted.

I still can't believe Chump would pick JD Vance for a running mate, but we'll see.

Chump wants somebody who is quiet and obedient, certainly not a young and handsome guy who will grab the TV cameras away from himself. Also he wants his running mate to be exceedingly wealthy. I think he'll pick a non-politician - somebody like Peter Thiel or Elon Musk maybe?

EDIT TO ADD:
OK well I called that one completely wrong. Chump just selected that idiot JD Vance. So fuck me!

Blatantly lying and spreading dangerous, unfounded rumors are the key qualities Trump demands from all his minions.

No matter what Trump says in his acceptance speech
to possibly try to move away from being such a complete asshole
who encouraged and invited Republicans to engage in violent acts--

(Kristi Noem tonight invoked Lincoln saying that Trump would ask us
to move towards 'the better angels of our nature'---
and that was certainly a choking laugh moment, coming from the puppy killer),

Trump's selection of Vance for VP is a clear signal to the base,
"Pay no attention to what I say--- pay attention to what I DO"

and he has done it.
