Ukraine launches second invasion of Russia
Source: Times Radio
The Ukrainians are going to try and take over a buffer zone inside Russia along its northern boarder. That will probably equate in size to the amount of territory that the Russians are holding in Ukraine.

(12,779 posts)Since the start of the conflict in February 2022, Ukraine has managed to damage or destroy at least 26 Russian naval vessels in the Black Sea. This includes a mix of patrol boats, landing craft, and larger ships, significantly impacting Russias maritime capabilities in the region. This includes a submarine that was sunk and another in dry dock that was damaged so badly it cannot be repaired.
Since it doesn't have a Navy, the country uses locally-designed and manufactured drone boats.

If it's 60 soldiers and a few armored vehicles, it may be the Russian exile group that's struck Belgorod before. We'll see over the next few days and weeks.

(8,075 posts)They have been stacking forces up on the border.
Not sure Poland would tolerate that. If Belarus invades, I think that might pull the Poles in.

(8,075 posts)I think it's a bluff to try and force Ukraine to pull some forces from Kursk.
But Lukashenko isn;t the sharpest knofe in the drawer, and I don't put it beyond him to make a blunder to impress his sugar daddy.
