'He's got to pay a price': Unaired footage reveals Nancy Pelosi's Jan. 6 fury

Source: Politico

Nancy Pelosi spent the duration of the Jan. 6 Capitol attack focused on ensuring Joe Biden would be certified president as soon as possible. Then she turned her attention to Donald Trump.

“I just feel sick about what he did to the Capitol and the country today,” Pelosi said as she slumped, visibly exhausted, in the back of her SUV in the pre-dawn hours of Jan. 7. “He’s got to pay a price for that.”

Pelosi’s comment was included in about 50 minutes of unaired footage captured by her daughter, filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, who was at the former speaker’s side at key moments on Jan. 5, 6 and 7 in 2021. POLITICO has reviewed the footage, which HBO turned over this week to the Republican-led House Committee on Administration.

The panel is conducting an investigation aimed at undermining the findings of the Jan. 6 select committee, which found Trump singularly responsible for the havoc his supporters unleashed on the Capitol, and spotlighting the security failures that exacerbated the violence. The panel has reviewed video from various sources, including security footage and the clips from HBO.

You just know that his Brownshirts are salivating over the opportunity to openly wear their swastika arm bands…

No amount of spin or misrepresentation will help them. You'd think they would avoid publicity before an important election.

It’s unbelievably insane that he was able to run again.
He should have been blocked for eternity from ever holding office again, if there was any justice in the world.
Of course there isn’t so he still has a large proportion of the US locked up in his back pocket where they can smell his emissions and profess to love it.

"He should have been blocked for eternity from ever holding office again" - it is unbelievable to me that this criminal is eligible to be a candidate

We need to restore the 14th Amendment -- equal protection of the law -- after the Subversive Court has gutted it. Put The Prosecutor in the White House and a majority of Democrats in House and Senate.

although what the final sentencing will be is still up in the air. He has also had to put quite a sum of money up for E. Jean Carroll and for his civil fraud liability, both pending appeal, so that money is out of circulation for his use for other legal fees.

I am stunned, angry, stuck with the bill of replacement. But I understand it was a random accident.

rwnj/magats will use Madame Speaker's comment as proof that all of the indictments, both impeachments, any legal actions against traitor is politically motivated. But no, it isn't.

Like a rock to the windshield, traitor's plot caused immense wreckage, but that is the only thing the event have in common. The attack on the Capitol and the attempt to stop the certification of 2020 election results, was a carefully planned and executed plot to overthrow the United States. traitor didn't pick up a rock and throw it. He devised a catapult, got his ammo primed and aimed boulders at our country.

traitor would put a breath mint in his mouth before he assaulted a woman he targeted. He didn't bother to use a breath mint before his forces swarmed the capitol, swarmed the states, swarmed the local polling places. He asked for and deserves any punishment that will ever be meted out to him and his henchmen.

Every time I see another conviction of his criminal mob, I cheer. One of these days, it will be traitor.
