President Biden Signs Executive Order Promoting Strong Labor Standards

Today, President Biden has signed a new executive order targeting America's labor standards and supporting America's workers. The "Good Jobs” executive order, specifically calls on federal agencies to prioritize better labor practices.

The executive order will make sure agencies adopt voluntary union recognition and neutrality when it comes to organizing, ensure equal pay and pay transparency for all workers, support increased standards for workplace safety, and prioritize workforce development.

To ensure the order is implemented, the White House will establish a task force that will be co-chaired by the Secretary of Labor and the current Director of the National Economic Council.
