Trump cracks joke about attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband in speech to police

Source: Salon

Published September 6, 2024 6:14PM (EDT)

Donald Trump joked about the brutal 2022 attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband in a speech to the Fraternal Order of Police on Friday.

“Nancy Pelosi has a big wall wrapped around her house. Of course, it didn't help too much with the problems she had, did it?” the former president said, referring to a break-in at Pelosi’s home in which a Canadian conspiracy theorist David DePape struck Paul Pelosi with a hammer in an attempted kidnapping of the former speaker of the House.

The crass jab earned some awkward chuckles from police officers in attendance. It came as Trump was criticizing Democratic politicians for having security at their homes. “They live in safety, in many cases behind walls, you know that?” Trump said, after accusing Democratic politicians of “forc[ing] anarchy on the American people.”

Nancy Pelosi condemned political violence after Trump was shot by would-be assassin Thomas Crooks in July. She noted in a statement that she knew “firsthand” the harms that come from politically motivated acts of terror. Prosecutors revealed Trump-inspired anti-government writings on his DePape's blog while building their case against him following the attack. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison in May.

He was sent to military school by his father for a reason.
Trump was said to be beating up his teachers.
I guess he didn't try that at military school run by trained soldiers.

So he was a conduct disorder as a child.
When they turn 18 they can be diagnosed as sociopaths.

Yes as an adult he interacted with people who taught him how to be a ruthless criminal.

Here's the article attached.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/book-reveals-even-as-a-child-donald-trump-was-a-horror/CSICR54HWLGDBI7MZA2P72ATAU/

snip of article.

Dennis Burnham, who lived next door, was a toddler when his mother briefly put him in a playpen in their garden. She returned a few minutes later to find the current U.S. president, then aged five or six, standing at his fence throwing rocks at the little boy.

His mother warned Dennis to "stay away from the Trumps" as they didn't want him "beaten up" by the family bully.

Another local child, Steven Nachtigall, now a 66-year-old doctor, said he never forgot Trump, a 'loudmouth bully', once jumping off his bike and pummeling another boy.

He is unfit to be anywhere near the WH.

Trump Defends Throwing Paper Towels to Hurricane Survivors in Puerto Rico

Oct. 8, 2017, 4:16 PM EDT / Updated Oct. 8, 2017, 4:16 PM EDT
By Daniella Silva

President Donald Trump defended throwing paper towels into a crowd of Puerto Ricans at a relief center in the hurricane-ravaged territory earlier this week and lauded federal relief efforts.

“They had these beautiful, soft towels. Very good towels,” Trump told Mike Huckabee during an interview Saturday with Christian network Trinity Broadcasting.

Trump’s White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is Mike Huckabee’s daughter.

“And I came in and there was a crowd of a lot of people. And they were screaming and they were loving everything. I was having fun, they were having fun,” he added. “They said, 'Throw 'em to me! Throw 'em to me Mr. President!”

In many cases “they” knowingly use Russian produced and or promoted lies to stir up shit
too. The Nancy Pelosi is evil lie has been sold by the right, Russia, Trump, his MAGA mouth
breathers, and Fox for years and so by extension attacking an 80 year old man with a hammer
is fine because that is fighting back against Nancy Pelosi.

Putin installed Trump to weaken America from the inside by causing social and in many cases
violent disruption. And he was successful too.

Funny on how some of the right wing outfits such as Glenn Beck’s The Blaze that consistently
pushed the talking points that Russia was not responsible for its attacks on America was
getting Russian money.

Trump needs to be crushed this fall and then wiped out with criminal and civil penalties. He is
a cancer on America.

It would be nice if we could get those "pollice" off the force. Anyone who finds an attack that severely injured a man in his eighties hilarious is not on the force to serve and protect, he's only there because it allows him to get paid for carrying a gun and pushing other people around.

Only other psychopaths think the psychopathic TFG is funny and that tthe beating of an elder is hilarious.

He threw in the jab at Pelosi as an aside. He left out the word wrapped the first time...He said: "the American people while they, they live in safety, in many cases behind walls, you know that Nancy Pelosi is a big wall around her house, of course it didn't help too much with the problem she had, but she had a big wall, a big wall wrapped around her house, but she says we don't, you have no idea what it was to get the wall done...."

Then he goes on to insult Kamala. The Salon article, like most media, makes pedo Trump sound more coherent and articulate than he really is.

He actually called Pelosi a big wall. And implied it was difficult to get her wall completed. At least that's what my own ears heard on the recording.
