Trump's rambling and angry speeches raise questions about his age and fitness to serve four years

Source: The Independent

Former President Donald Trump’s rambling and increasingly angry speeches focused on the past have increased concerns about his age and fitness to serve another term in the White House.

The 78-year-old former president has recently suggested there was an audience at his September 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris when there was none, and he has indicated that North Korea is attempting to assassinate him when he’s likely to have meant Iran. He misspeaks and misremembers things to such a degree that it no longer appears to garner much attention.

In September, more than a month after President Joe Biden left the race, Trump was talking as if he was still running against him and not Harris. Following the departure of Biden, Trump is the oldest nominee of a major party in US history and he would become the oldest president ever if he wins and finishes another term, at the end of which he would be 82 years old.

Over the course of the nine years that Trump has spent on the political scene, his speeches have grown bleaker, longer, and more focused on the past, according to a review by The New York Times. The outlet found that Trump’s speeches now last on average 82 minutes compared to 45 minutes in 2016.

2. Tip of the iceberg. NOTHING about his thinking or approach to governing makes him fit either.

If he gets reelected, they will need to add on to the WH to make room for a 200 person 24/7 damage control team.

trump just as soon as they possibly can. That way, they have Vance installed as prez and he'd be an incumbent for re-election, if he's "served" long enough. Besides, I can't see trump in the oval office any length of time without word getting out about how riddled with dementia he truly is.

It's not fair but it is consistently that way. We're supposed to be the adults in the room. Or Communists. Either way...

If it actually mattered it would have already mattered. They don't care. Nothing matters
He has proven over and over and over ad nauseum that neither the press nor his followers care what he says or does. I honestly think he could order all Democrats to be arrested or worse and the news media and his followers would be ok with it.

I want him healthy enough to stand trial, and to serve a full sentence.

but with the way the court system is kowtowing to him constantly, I'd take that stroke just to have him gone permanently. The sooner the better, IMO... then maybe we can get thru the worst of maga with their lord and savior gone, and try to start healing the abyss between us. As long as it's natural causes, he's not a martyr, tho some will no doubt try to propagandize it differently. But enough will believe that it should be only worst of the worst of maga. And then we'll know exactly who to target for special care.

This court will not allow him to serve prison time if convicted. They will find a way to overturn any conviction because the Constitution is moot to them.

"come on stroke...!" Although it's against my ethos and morally abhorrent a thought to me. But this guy is so dangerous, so evil, that sometimes the best thing is for him is to just not exist any longer. Others in that camp include Hitler, and I'm sure you can fill in the blanks with other despotic troublemakers. trump is just our despotic troublemaker, along with his congressional minions.

his sentencing in November (assuming that actually happens). I am sick to death of paying for him, ad I sure as hell don't want to pay for his incarceration. And I am sick to death of all the time and energy we have to spend dealing with him and his loyalists.

once he pardons himself, he will turn it over to Vance, he has no wish to be president.
