Trump's Lawyers Are Ready to Subvert the 2024 Election -- But They Don't Want to Go to Jail

Source: Rolling Stone

“We don’t want to get indicted or arrested, like they were last time,” says one source involved with the vast Trump 2024 legal effort.

With Election Day 2024 just over a week away, both the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump camps are anticipating a historically close outcome, with the winner being decided by a small number of votes in a handful of states. Both sides have assembled their respective legal war rooms, deployed their legal muscle to a slate of swing states, recruited armies of local counsel in those battlegrounds, and devoted mammoth resources to prepping for a tense fight in the courts.

They’re all ready for, as one Trump adviser puts it, “total warfare,” should the post-election period devolve into madness.

The MAGA side, however, has a unique concern gnawing at its pro-Trump lawyers, to the point that some of these attorneys have felt the need to issue new guidance to staff.

It all boils down to: How do we do this without maybe going to prison or being sued into oblivion?

There is a simple solution to this: If, when all the certified votes have been counted, Harris gets more Electoral Colleges votes than T***p and the result is that she has won a free and fair election, tell your client this one word solution:

Concede.

Then watch out for the flying ketchup.

Lawyers who knowingly file frivolous lawsuits cannot claim first amendment rights as a defense.

Avoid the misery that is Mr. Trump. Do not represent him legal beagles. Wingnut welfare is not a good living anyway. If you have any conscience, you will find it difficult to sleep at night.

1. Thrown under the bus at some point, 100% guaranteed.
2. You will commit some kind of fraud and will loose you license, you will be disbarred.
3. You reputation will be tarnished forever, if its not already tarnished due to the fact that you have the buffoon as your client.
4. Run away, run away...save yourselves. trump has the unMidas touch, everything he touches turns to crap.

That is it, follow whose four points and you will save yourselves from the inevitable, but you have to act fast.

from under the huge rogue tsunamic wave and avalanche of votes for Kamala, Tim and every other Democrat running for office at every level. There are many who have posted that they and their families of lifelong Republicans have voted or will be voting blue from ballot top to ballot bottom. Can you say "Large Democratic Majority, House and Senate with President Harris at the helm"?

Here is my thinking on the matter. I'm sure the GOP has numerous extra-legal and marginally-legal schemes in place to dispute/cheat in the upcoming election. I'm sure they have a variety of options on the table: refusal to certify electors, false electors, false voter registration schemes (like the one recently uncovered in Lancaster County, PA), and who knows what all else. Just as in 2021 they had the "brilliant" plan of Mike Pence refusing to accept the electors when it came time for Congress to certify the vote.

Here's the difficulty with such plans: they require someone to act first. Mr Pence in 2021 either lacked the courage or had enough integrity (the two are not mutually exclusive, but I lean towards the first) to take the necessary step and overturn the election. This time around, there are any number of people who will be waiting for somebody else to bell the cat, and then they'll jump on the bandwagon. But who will be the one to take that all-important first step? Frankly, I believe that no one in the Trump camp has that kind of courage. They'll all sit around and wait for someone else to do it first. So nothing will happen.

Yeah, it's speculation, and I'm sure others have different interpretations. We'll find out soon enough, but I am convinced MAGA is mostly a bunch of cowardly blowhards who will never be there when the rubber hits the road. They're all a bunch of weasels.
