Pentagon to Restore Fort Liberty's Name to Fort Bragg

The Pentagon is changing the name of the military base Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg, reversing a decision made by a congressionally mandated commission to rename bases that honor Confederate generals.
The Army base will be renamed Fort Bragg, but it will honor a different Bragg than its original namesake, Gen. Braxton Bragg, who fought for the Confederacy. Instead, it will honor PFC Roland L. Bragg, who was awarded a Silver Star for actions during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, according to a memo signed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth aboard a USAF C-17 before landing in Stuttgart, Germany.

What a clever workaround to legally rename Fort Liberty to Fort Bragg again. You have to give the adversary credit for sheer cunning.
The USSECDEF is attending the NATO Ministers of Defense conference in Brussels. This summit is where the sycophantic dry drunk Pete Hegseth will parrot Kremlin talking points about Ukraine's corruption and the need to hold elections. One Pravda report accuses President Volodomyr Zelensky of losing 200 billion of dollars of US funds (see screed linked at bottom).

Ukraine Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov is a Crimean Tatar who developed excellent relations with Turkish intelligence. In May 2023, Umerov accompanied President Zelensky during his visit to Saudi Arabia and contributed to Zelensky's participation in the 2023 Arab League summit in Jeddah.
