Trump demands 'UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER' from Iran as he issues chilling threat to Supreme Leader Khamenei

Source: Independent

President Donald Trump on Tuesday demanded that Iranian forces unconditionally lay down their arms as he issued a thinly veiled threat that American forces may target Iran’s head of state if the Islamic Republic doesn’t cease targeting Israeli civilians — or targets any American forces in the region.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the U.S. “know exactly where” Iran’s “so-called Supreme Leader,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is “hiding” and described him as an “easy target” who is currently “safe” in his current location.

“We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers,” the president continued before adding: “Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

In a second post moments later, he added another two-word demand: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

The cold formality of TYFYATTM seems meant to distinguish one of Trump’s many daily dispatches as Official Business, something to be considered with utmost seriousness. It doesn’t always get the job done. In one instance, Trump dropped a TYFYATTM after merely mentioning that he’d had a conversation with Canadian PM Mark Carney, perhaps out of habit. (Although it’s certainly possible that Trump’s team uses the strange phrase when posting on his behalf, now that it’s become a signature line.)

TYFYATTM fuses together formality with urgency, conveying that something must be done! Whether he intends to or not, by addressing readers directly, Trump involves them. TYFYATTM brings them into breaking news, like when late-night talk show hosts precede a monologue joke with, “Did you hear about this?” Some readers might even feel deputized by the phrase—even if all they have to do is hate Harvard a little more than before. On the other hand, Trump may just understand that people like being thanked—even when they haven’t done anything.

In any case, whether through marketing prowess or sheer force of will and repetition, Trump has quickly lodged his new catchphrase within the cultural vernacular.

People on X and Bluesky have been using it as a goofy mock-signoff for decidedly unofficial proclamations.

Maybe a dirty bomb, at least.

Iran’s top general says ‘punitive’ attacks will be launched against Israel
According to Iran’s Press TV, Abdolrahim Mousavi, chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, said: “The operations carried out so far have been a warning for deterrence – the punitive operation will be executed soon.”

then it's a safe bet that Iran will cease to exist as a country about an hour later, the US would commit every air asset to the fight that's in the region.

Iran used ‘undetectable’ missile in strike on Israeli intelligence site
Iran’s Defence Ministry says it used a new, undetectable missile in striking an Israeli intelligence facility, claiming the attack penetrated multiple layers of air defences.

“In today’s attack, we deployed missiles that could not be tracked or intercepted,” said Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, the ministry’s spokesperson, according to Iranian state news agency IRNA.

He described the operation as a surprise for Israelis, warning that they will witness more.

more likely, a few got through the layered system, which is what happens in war, no air defense system is 100% effective, the key is to shoot down the majority and take out the Iranian's missile sites in Iran, which will now be easier as Israel has complete air superiority over Iran.

Some hypersonic missiles are also equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV), a warhead attached to a missile that can manoeuvre and glide at speeds five times faster than the speed of sound. In Iran, the Fattah-2 uses the HGV. “It looks like a normal missile with a craft attached to the end of it,” Gatopoulos said.

He explained that besides travelling faster, HGVs also zigzag and do not move on a predictive path like regular ballistic missiles. Such quick, erratic movements evade air defence systems, which are designed to predict the path a missile will take.

Likely a covert surface-based delivery platform. Not that they couldn't do a lot of damage with one of these, given the right payload.

Iran is no small country. A population of over 92 million and spanning close to 650,000 sq. miles. It's military are well trained and installations all over the country.

If TACO Don wants to go to war with Iran, he will have to sell both Houses of Congress on it. For it is one of the powers of the Congress to declare war on another country for reasons that endanger the United States. The LAST DECLARED war by the Congress was Dec. 8, 1941.
