In a sense, we've already lost the country -- as far as normal nonviolent procedures for controlling treason and correcting course go. That just hasn't sunk in yet.

Trump could publicly declare that he'd stolen the election, and all he'd have to say is that he did it for the good of the country, and that would be the end of it.

Even if they're released, Trump's accomplices will claim that the released emails are phony, the media will ask no follow up questions, and then they'll run a story about Joe Biden's age.

Just the mention of Hunter will distract MAGAs from anything reported about the contents of Trump aides' emails.
