TSLA is a meme stock based on Elon Musk. If they remove Elon Musk, they remove the only thing behind the inflated stock value. If they keep Musk, they will continue a long-term decline with him at the helm.

I don't think there is a way to remove the conflation of Musk and TSLA without killing TSLA.

I own a hybrid car now and might consider a plug-in electric in a few years when the charging network is built out, but I will never buy anything connected to Musk, starting with Tesla.
