WASHINGTON (KVOA) - House Speaker Mike Johnson is set to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva on Wednesday.

On Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. EST, or 2 p.m. local time, Grijalva will be sworn in on the U.S. House of Representatives floor. Grijalva will represent Arizona's 7th District in the 119th Congress.

This comes after Grijalva released a statement on Nov. 10, saying, "I am planning to travel to Washington, D.C. after hearing through Leader Jeffries and media reports that Speaker Johnson finally intends to swear me in."

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes filed a lawsuit in October against the House, pushing for Grijalva's swearing-in.

Johnson is an ebola virus - all he can do is reproduce and make people miserable while killing about 50% of them. No socially redeeming qualities whatsoever. I wish he'd been aborted rather than birthed.

2 were spearheading the thing - Thomas Massie and MTG. The other 2 were surprises (at least to me), although they are MAGat loons - Bobo Boebert and Nancy Mace.

I thought that happened during the shutdown. She was flapping her gums about something, trying to get attention. It would be interesting if her vote is enough to make the difference.
