This does not belong on a public broadcast. Garbage like this belongs on a radical right wing fringe podcast. Once word gets out, I'm hoping for a groundswell of outrage that forces CBS/Paramount to reconsider the broadcast.

No one gives a crap about Erika Kirk. Most people didn't even know who Charlie Kirk was before he met his demise. And what happened to the shooter? That story died quickly.

Usually filled with reruns, college sports, and other assortment of odds-and-ends programming the network needs to burn. CBS will park this "special" there as first dibs---but its the clips and soundbites that will filter down to the socials where the real reach happens.

I'm sure there will be lots of commentary on all of it here on DU as much as we say we want to look away.

P.S. What the hell happened to Saturday night netwrok TV? Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Burnett, Love Boat, Golden Girls (I'm dating myself here). I guess viewers just stopped watching less and less and/or went elsewhere for entertainment.

Around here, if you don't pay for a cable connection, you don't get any channels. Sometimes, I try to get on a network channel online, and the site asks me if I have cable. And that's that. I think the last time I tried, I was trying to watch the Preakness last summer.

Actually, I have not watched a network show in years. I get my news from here and a few other sites. Only other TV is streaming. Forgot about MS Now…….try to catch Nicolle, some of Lawrence. The bulk of my info is online. Would never watch CBS after all this crap.
