Wanda Sykes and other celebrities at the Golden Globes Awards are showing support for Renee Nicole Good, the woman who was recently killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.

Sykes, 61, arrived at the 83rd annual awards ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 11, wearing a white pin with black lettering that read, "BE GOOD," in reference to Good, 37, who was fatally shot in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 as ICE launched large-scale raids in Minneapolis, following intensified rhetoric from President Donald Trump and his administration regarding Somali immigrants. (Minneapolis-St. Paul is home to the largest Somali population in the United States.)

"Of course this is for the mother who was murdered by an ICE agent, and it's really sad. I know people are out marching and all today, and we need to speak up," Sykes told Variety on the red carpet ahead of the awards show. "We need to be out there and shut this rogue government down, because it's just awful what they're doing to people."

An official description for the pin campaign reads that it "aims to honor Renee Macklin Good and Keith Porter while also reminding us what it means to be good to one another in the face of such horror – to be a good citizen, neighbor, friend, ally and human." (Keith Porter was a man who was killed by an off-duty ICE officer in Los Angeles on Dec. 31, according to multiple reports.).................
