Kid Rock to headline TPUSA counterprogrammed Super Bowl halftime show

Conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA has announced Kid Rock will headline its counterprogrammed halftime show, dubbed "The All-American Halftime Show," when Bad Bunny takes the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Along with Kid Rock, The "one-of-a-kind streaming event," which will celebrate "American faith, family, and freedom," will feature performances from "Bottoms Up" singer Brantley Gilbert, "I Drive Your Truck" singer Lee Brice, and "I Hope" singer Gabby Barret, according to a press release.

TPUSA announced plans for the counterprogrammed show in October after global phenom and album of the year Grammy winner Bad Bunny was named the official Super Bowl halftime performer.

The show will stream "around 8 p.m. ET on Feb. 8, 2026" across TPUSA social platforms, as well as on Daily Wire+, TBN, Real America's Voice and OANN.

I do watch the Super Bowl halftime show. I think there is always some sort of political statement involved in the choice of halftime entertainers.
