Trump Administration Sued Over Cutting Off Funds for $16 Billion Tunnel

"The agency overseeing construction of a $16 billion rail tunnel under the Hudson River sued the federal government on Monday for cutting off the projects funding and leaving it without enough money to keep building beyond this week.

(2,838 posts)Christie killed a similar project as governor and used the earmarked funds to pay for short falls in the New Jersey budget.
If he hadn't done that the tunnel would be finished and both New Jersey and New York would be profiting from it.
Trump might just want the money, but it's more likely he also wants to fuck over two states that voted against him.
