And Gulf states have had to "turn things off" for lack of storage space. They have to be brought back online slowly and carefully. A critical choreography. If things go wrong, crude separation, i.e., going waxy and clogging rock pores, or infiltration from ground water, the field could be damaged permanently. Then, there's the whole tangled mess of supply chains we're all too familiar with from covid.
