Direct U.S.-Iran talks fail to reach resolution after lengthy negotiation

Source: Washington Post

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Talks between the United States and Iran failed to reach a resolution over ending the war, Vice President JD Vance announced after more than 20 hours of negotiations here.

“We just could not get to a situation where the Iranians were willing to accept our terms. I think that we were quite flexible,” Vance said around 6:30 a.m. local time, after working well into the morning.

I wonder if it would have helped if:
1. We had not started bombing the shit out of Iran a month ago?

2. Or maybe we could have sent a negotiating team who knew what they were doing instead of sending a phony hillbilly and two real estate developers?

3. Or maybe if Trump had not cancelled the Obama deal nine years ago?

Who the hell wouldn't be insulted to be expected to negotiate with that dim wit?

He's an errand boy sent by grocery clerks, destined to come back empty-handed. He's a minion with tough talk and no clout. I bet the Iranians laughed in his face.

Looks like they wanted someone who was against the fiasco to begin with. Now Vance has back-to-back womp womps after Hungary, as things don't look good for Orban. Fingers crossed.

The whole Administration runs on TV rules. They are not government power, they are playing government for the cameras.

Anybody with any sense knew the 15 minutes of fame was over when he hit the bottom of the escalator in 2015 and declared Mexicans rapists. It was a projection of his own guilt.

He’s an accidental businessman, ETTD. His negotiators are losers like him, negotiations are useless. Nobody on the other side of the table has any expectation of truth or fairness from a lunatic narcissist.
