'ALF' Star Anne Schedeen Dies at 77; Family Remembers Her 'Burning Hatred for Trump'

Anne Schedeen, who played the matriarch of a suburban family hiding a cuddly alien on “ALF,” died at age 77, her family announced Sunday on Facebook.

In a statement, Schedeen’s family wrote “She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of creative energy, whip smart humor, delight in her family, adoration for little dogs, burning hatred for Trump, passion for second-hand thrifting, and love for a good story. We are bereft without her. We loved her so so much, as did all who met her.”

This makes Andrea Ellson, who played the daughter, the last surviving human cast member both primarily and secondary.

I never saw an episode, but this woman's mom suggested theater to help her develop her personality. Because she was painfully shy. I found that touching. RIP

I lost a very dear friend last September. In those last tearful conversations when she knew she was going to die, she said “you know what really stinks too? The fact that that son of a bitch is going to outlive me.”
