JEFF TIEDRICH breaking: SCOTUS rules Donald Trump has 'absolute immunity' for 'official acts'

"Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts."

immunity for official acts, no immunity for unofficial acts. okay, so what does that mean for Donny’s Big Election Interference Fuckery trial?

“The Court accordingly remands to the District Court to determine in the first instance whether Trump’s conduct in this area qualifies as official or unofficial.”

fucking SCOTUS. after delaying making a ruling until the very last second, they kicked the can down the road. they dropped everything back into Judge Chutkan’s lap and said here, you figure it out.

And my president is Joe Biden. I, for one, can not wait to see how he uses this newly created presidential power to protect democracy starting this afternoon.

Stop moaning about what Trump may do with it in January and start highlighting what Joe can do with it in the next 6 months (and hopefully 54 months).

from one administration to the next is not a presidential official act. Just the opposite. It is a violation of the oath of the presidential oath of office. It is also an act of sedition.

Pressuring election officials to find the right number of votes to "win" an election is not an official presidential act. It is a violation of the presidential oath of office.

Setting up false, duplicate sets of electoral votes and plotting to nullify the certified electors is not an official presidential act. It is subversion of the election process and constitutional laws that the president is sworn to defend.
