Seems like more and more countries are increasing their military supplies-planes, gear, ammo, etc .

I think of all the money spent on this.

Trump Warned Europe Could Seize Us Military Bases If He Tries To Take Greenland, Austrian Nato Chair Says

.....................

Denmark, which governs Greenland, firmly rejected the proposal, insisting the territory is not for sale and that its people have the right to determine their own future. The idea was widely criticized across Europe as unrealistic and diplomatically reckless.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has urged the U.S. to stop what has been described as threats against a historically close ally and reaffirmed that Greenland is not for sale.

..................
The most striking part of the Austrian official’s warning was the suggestion that European countries could seize or restrict U.S. military bases on their soil in retaliation for a forced move on Greenland. The United States operates dozens of bases across Europe, which are central to NATO’s defense posture, especially in Eastern Europe, where deterrence against Russia remains a top priority.......................

and could be the beginning of a more collective NATO nation excluding the USA, Hungary and maybe another. Bring in Ukraine, which is a formidable force and probably other countries.

USA, Russia, China, and other dictator countries will have a problem joining together because shithole wants to be the main leader.

WW3. Democrats tried to warn the USA's citizens.

My thoughts.

Canada would have a stronger claim on Greenland than the U.S. would. Besides, why would Canada want yet another U.S. property surrounding its borders?

It's in French, but the "translate" option seems to work pretty well (but I'm not a French speaker).

Wouldn't that be a defacto act of war. Which means all US service members in Europe could become prisoners of war?

For example, if he starts 4 new wars he can also end them.

Piled on top of the 8 wars he already ended, that makes a cool dozen.

How could the Nobel committee possibly be ignore that?

But Europeans have to be asking themselves now if they are not MORE vulnerable to Russian aggression by having troops within their borders whose commitment to defending them has become doubtful.

I guess the Europeans trusted that we would come to our senses, and we did stabilize things for 4 years with Biden. But they are looking at 3 more years of this -- and I mean this in the most literal of senses -- insanity. And it is not just Trump who is out of his mind. I can't identify a single person in his cabinet who has any sense of the importance of alliances.
