(222,474 posts)Like the one in my area where the young girl was killed after the driver turned around in the shooter's driveway, or the one where the teenage boy was shot after going to the wrong house to pick up his younger brother.

(1,456 posts)(Sorry for the late response. I've been away for a family funeral. I like to respond to you ASAP beecause I really appreciate all the videos you post. As I don't own a telly, sometimes the only way I see some of the more insipid moments of our crazy world are your videos.)
When you have a moment, hug those you love. We all take too much for granted. You never know when that one hug could be the last hug. Don't mean to be morbid. Some lessons we learn the hard way.

(222,474 posts)And that's the reason I post what I do - I know that a lot of people don't stay up as late as I do (Colbert, etc.) and I know that not everyone here has cable or even TV - ad I do post what I watch.
I also know what you mean - I miss so many family members every single day, especially my grandmother who I was closest to, though she did live to 98. And I go to the cemetery every week to light a new candle for my Dad and wish I could talk to him. I did go to a 90th birthday celebration for my Dad's cousin on Sunday, so I try to keep up...

(222,474 posts)The closest I had to a grandfather lived to 101 1/2 - and the entire family turned out from across the country for his 100th birthday, but it was tough to keep track of him since he was so "busy..."
