'Nosedive': The downward trajectory of the DeSantis campaign - All In - MSNBC

“There is no way around it – the DeSantis campaign is in freefall. That is in large part because he lacks any coherent vision for his candidacy,” says Mehdi Hasan. “He was trying to just cheat it and say, ‘I'm Trump without the baggage, without the chaos.’ It turns out, Republican voters like the baggage and like the chaos. And turns out, DeSantis is really just trump without charisma, or charm, or humor, or personality.” - Aired on 09/22/2023.

He has no confining ethics, morals, respect for law nor an appreciation of Democracy. He is one of the most power-hungry men in the nation, and there are no limits to where he will go to attain more power; no one he would be unwilling to destroy on his journey. He has turned Florida into a MAGA Republic where he, and he alone calls all of the shots. What Ron wants, Ron gets. The man is capable, if endowed with more power, of causing great harm to America and Americans. The only thing standing in his way is that he is the human equivalent of AI, it is hard to find some human quality to love in the man; unless of course, it is his charming smile.

DeSantis has not taken the obvious course of dropping out of this race, because he believes that Trump will become unable to regain the White House. He still believes that he has the far-right credentials to become a political Phoenix. (He may be right) When he finally admits failure in his quest for the White House, this time, it will be interesting to see which Florida Senate seat he will challenge, and whether Floridians have had enough of his style of "leadership" and sends him to the showers. As a civilian, I can see him in the role of a CEO in a corporation involved in the development of chemical and biological weapons...

DeSantis is only 45 years old, he has the advantage of time on his side. Defeat in this election cycle will not put him on ice.

that says he is a nice guy or did something well or shows any appreciation of him. Even she struggles at saying anything nice about him. Once when I had cancer, he did one thing for the kids so she didn't have to. WTAF?

His staff hates him and former co-workers hate him. An electorate that was really paying attention and voting in their or their country's self-interest would never consider him.
