(113,130 posts)Republicans are too busy being terrified of TFG's loonies to be anything but a sea of nodding bobbleheads. In a combination Sumo and cage match, my money would be on Christie. All TFG's got right now is raw rage. Christie is capable of outmaneuvering that.
However, this is the presidency he's running for and I'm afraid his qualities, such as they are, are a bad fit for the job. Oh, he wouldn't foul things up as badly as TFG did...or would again. He would simply be hamstrung by a party that stands for nothing but idolatry and hero worship. His diffidence when it came to answering Mika's very pointed question is proof of that.
He's afraid, too.
