Had withheld funding/support for Great Britain in the early years of WWII. All because of America First. All because the leader of Great Britain wouldnt lie for the leader of said party. T
The gop is the party of treason. Doing what trump wants gives aid and comfort to our enemies.

The issue appears to be that Republicans have different ideas about who are our actual allies. And, as you said, they follow TFG's orders regarding our allies - he was impeached for the first time for attempting to blackmail Ukraine despite the fact that the aid had already been approved.
