Donald Trump's civil fraud trial in New York just kicked off, and perhaps predictably, Trump started the day with dangerous rhetoric directed at the Judge and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Specifically, Trump said people should "go after the Attorney General." At some point, prosecutors and courts must step up and deal with Trump's ongoing danger to witnesses, judges, prosecutors, and anyone endeavoring to hold him accountable for his crimes.
On a lighter note, one of Trump's attorney's, Christopher Kise (who was previously sanctioned by the judge for his conduct in the pretrial litigation in this case), said in his opening statement that there is no such thing as an "objective valuation" for property.
Perhaps not, but there is rampant, transparent and obvious fraud, as reflected in Trump's absurd and inconsistent valuations of his properties. - Glenn Kirschner - 10/02/2023.

Crazy thought I had. Maybe his current top notch lawyer doesnt want a jury trial.

(39,854 posts)Studied with the master Roy Cohn, a singularly horrible human being. He knows he will lose this case. His solution burn the courthouse down to show the stupid people he loves how bad he is being treated. I look forward to the history books getting hold of him.
