Especially the Infowars conspiracy theory types (Greene, Gaetz, Boebert, Gosar, Luna, Hageman, Jackson, etc). Keep them as far away from government as humanly possible. 
In the authoritarian model of those dictators he most admires, Putin and Kim Jong-Un.
But there was no rational reason for him to run for any public office in the first place. He has no government knowledge or experience, likely never even voted - but the obvious reason was that his only agenda for launching a campaign was to grift contributions since all his attempted business ventures failed - and he had no intention of serving until the contributions came rolling in. And he's unwilling to give that up, even continued to hold "rallies" rather than doing the job.
Hoping to blame, yet again, the dysfunction on Democratic leadership - but that ship sailed during their failed "impeachment" attempt.
