(17,757 posts)My wife and I attended a performance where a drunk woman kept heckling the performer. Before he got through with her, she left in tears, to the appreciation and applause of the entire audience.

(3,018 posts)After a few minutes of their boos, he walked over the corner where they were sitting and asked them why they were there.
"Haven't you seen any of my previous work? Didn't you think to check me out on YouTube before you paid money to be here?" They yelled something about him ridiculing trunt - he followed with "I haven't even said his name, and I said I wasn't going to. I've only mentioned the stupidity of the people he's put into positions of power and you're upset."
He let them have it for a few more minutes then told them they could get their money at the front door. He wasn't going to tell another joke until they left.
The best part for me was that I was at the corner of the stage and he's standing within arm's reach as he's ruining their evenings.

(5,203 posts)You are wearing a mask. They don't believe in wearing one. They feel the need to confront you. You are holding a door for people. They don't believe in doing that. They have to tell you you are crazy. You are waiting in line to be vaccinated. They don't believe in vaccines. They feel the need to stop, walk up to you and tell you how bad vaccines are. I have even had one make a remark when I was on my way to return a cart in the parking lot and stopped to get a few that people had just left in a parking place and take them with me to the cart rack. I wasn't surprised at seeing a trump bumper stick on her car.

(13,565 posts)They're also the "hey, snowflakes, don't be so offended" crowd, but they are SO easily offended by SO many things it's unreal. And then they sure want you to care about THEIR feelings.
