Hollywood writers union ratifies deal with studios - Reuters



Members of the Writers Guild of America approved a new three-year contract with major studios, five months after the union called a strike that plunged Hollywood's film and television production into turmoil.

More mundane TV shows and movies to dull our senses.

Real news is getting too frightening.

As it always has been, until someone decided all information is entertainment and Foxified news programs to contain less than 10% real news. The other 90% are fillers and artificial flavoring so we consume things that are against our best interest.

The people who convinced us cigarette smoking made us look cool are now working for Republican politicians and causes.

On edit: I’ve been on strike five months and welcome the WGA agreement for sure. Scripted entertainment is what we’ve been missing and desperately needed to tolerate the circus news broadcast daily from Republican tents.
