Related: About this forumJudge Chutkan to decide whether to impose gag order on Trump to protect witnesses/promote fair trial
Donald Trump is on Pretrial release in four felony cases, including a federal case in Washington, DC, for his attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
On Monday, October 16, District of Columbia federal court judge Tanya Chutkan will hold a hearing on Special Counsel Jack Smith's motion seeking restrictions on defendant Donald Trump's speech and posts to protect the witnesses, to prevent Trump from poisoning the jury pool, and to preserve the people's right to a fair trial.
This video discusses the Supreme Court precedent that allows a trial court judge to impose restrictions on a defendant's speech - without running afoul of the First Amendment - to prevent a defendant from saying things that would "pose a substantial likelihood of prejudicing" court proceedings. - Glenn Kirschner - 10/15/2023.

OP
He knows he's guilty and his only hope is inciting his "supporters" and somehow being elected

Every single time he's warned - including agreeing to "detention" if he kept up his attacks - he doubles down! Not to mention, he's now attacking Presidents Obama - and Bush*!

He figures if he can persuade one or more of the stupid people he loves to destroy something or murder someone that all will be made right in his world. Gag him. One peep, jail him. If magas riot in the streets, so be it. Good B Roll for elect Biden commercials.

Good luck with that, he needs to be shut up and shut down - until he's convicted in all four jurisdictions.
