is quite the show these days.

i’m excited. unlike our last progressive mayor, harold washington, johnson has a pretty big council majority. (washington faced a 29-21 council, mostly white against harold’s rainbow. if u want to hear some top notch political comedy, google aaron freeman, council wars. after a lawsuit, maps were redrawn and he had a 25-25 council. sadly died shortly thereafter.)
i think there are about 18-20 neanderthals, and a handful of radicals.

we also just elected a police oversight board. treatment not trauma was a main theme of his campaign.

i’ve been pretty proud of how we’ve handled the busloads of immigrants. there r some numbnuts here. dont let the all d thing throw u. but there has been a huge outpouring of compassion and kindness. everyone has tried their best.

we also just abolished the tipped min wage.
