Related: About this forum"A Textbook Case of Genocide": Israeli Holocaust Scholar Raz Segal Decries Israel's Assault on Gaza
Raz Segal, an Israeli expert in modern genocide, calls Israel's assault on Gaza a textbook case of "intent to commit genocide" and its rationalization of its violence a "shameful use" of the lessons of the Holocaust. Israeli state exceptionalism and comparisons of its Palestinians victims to "Nazis" are used to "justify, rationalize, deny, distort, disavow mass violence against Palestinians," says Segal.

Yes, innocents in Israel were killed and kidnapped and it was horrific. How do you justify the indiscriminate attack on all Palestinians and how do you justify the failed intelligence of Israel's famed intelligence operation especially since there are reports that Israel was warned of an attack?
Edit, typo the letter I to Israel's.

It is a rare occurrence if you find any story they report not implicitly or directly blaming Israel for anything negative that happens in the middle east.
Even after the Hamas terror attack against civilians in Israel, their reporting went out of their way to find interviews that gave "justification" for that attack.
A similar situation occurred when Russia invaded Ukraine. They went out of their way interviewing people who blamed NATO and the US for provoking the Russia invasion.
