Will this fall, a month or two after the Olympics, be a good time to visit Paris?

I have been wanting to visit both Giverny and Versailles for their gardens with my daughter for a long time but never could get it worked out. I am wondering if very soon after the Olympics there might be better air fare/hotel fees. I was thinking of early September.

Versailles in September- the gardens we’re starting to wane a bit- Giverny in May was lovely.

I was in Paris in early September. I thought it was a good time to be there. It was cloudy, overcast the whole time, temperature was good, a little more humid than I like but not uncomfortable.

We used a tour service called Americanconcierge.com to completely organize our week in Paris as this is kind of a trip of a lifetime. We're even doing a day trip to Normandy to see the beaches. The trip with be here before I know it!

I had previously looked into the Normandy beach DDay visit but couldn't find a travel companion. My husband is handicapped so it would be a problem, altho I know he'd love it.

5. This tour service we're using is driving us there by private car. I'm sure they'll be some walking around once

we're there, but we opted for the private car, pick up and drop off at our hotel, versus taking the train. Is your husband mobil enough to walk around a bit?

6. Yes, but on a beach sounds a bit treacherous. I'm assuming you have to walk on sand at some point, right?

8. Maybe, I'm not entirely sure if we'll walk on the actual beaches or just see them from above. I have not received

Almost all (if not all) the trees around were still green. And there were flowers in the one part of a garden we walked through.
We mostly had partly to fully sunny weather.

This was a unexpected section of an unexpected 🥰 gifted vacation w relatives in western Switzerland.
