I didn't think the Kamala Harris had a chance in this misogynistic country. But everything changed overnight. I am so relieved. In fact I haven't felt this optimistic in six maybe 10 years. When Obama was elected I was so happy, and then the crazies came out and fought everything he did and I thought there's no chance for any kind of future after that. And I was also, in my own words, pissed when I had to hear it first from George Clooney. But now it almost seems like it couldn't have gone any better. I feel hopeful for the first time in ages.
My apologies for my pessimism.
