Yale is offering their "Science of Well Being" Course absolutely free

https://www.coursera.org/learn/the-science-of-well-being

This course has 4.7 MILLION 5-star reviews, is completely free with a very minimal sign up & the first videos are available immediately upon the completion of registration.

Those who have tried it have told me they feel better after watching the first videos.

I hope this is helpful.

It is very interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend it. The things I learned in this course have remained with me.
It was the reason I took up birding and stopped eating processed meat.

Thank you for sharing your experience with it.

I'm concerned because I've seen a couple of long-time DUers say they're leaving for a bit, due to the stress.

It is possible to learn to live mindfully, although these times are quite trying.

Sometimes taking a break is a way of being mindful.

I sometimes go on news media diets where I limit my exposure to news. I see it as taking care of myself.

Not joking.

And you are very right. I just hate to see people step away from what might be one of their only social supports here at DU due to the stress.
