Not hard for me to believe the connection to a murder though. That guy is a dead ringer for Christian Bale in American Psycho.

She was missing from Arkansas and was apparently affiliated with "The Way" for awhile. She was a Jane Doe for almost 40 years and was identified in 2018.

Did you know, there's another updated higher-tech cover video of it, by A1? The song sounds mostly the same, but the story of the video is very different. It's not really 80's like the original.

as soon as they entered that simulation, all I could think of was the movie 'Tron'. I was surprised when I looked up this video that it is from 2000 - long after that movie which I think it leans heavily upon for the visual style. Then I thought - ah ha! (pun intended) they are covering an 80's song, so might as well use a 80's movie esthetic to match.

I heard the song for the first time (somehow) only a few years ago, and when I subsequently saw the video, I was amused by the difference between his appearance and my imagination.

and the plastic-metallic look suits are the cheesiest thing in the fully cheesy video.

I catch up on her now and then. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer last year. Fortunately, it was Stage 1.

Lampooned just about everyone who was anyone back in the 1980's, and many of them have died since then!
