Sunday 14 May 1967. Mothers Day. Mantle hits his 500th Home Run.

Ballantine BEER used to be a big seller at Philly Games, way back in the day.

And, no doubt, Mickey Mouse is an awesome baseball fan.

About 25 years ago, a friend who was really into baseball told me he collected signed baseballs. He mentioned he has one by MM.

I said, "Wow! That must be worth something." He said, "Mantle was a publicity whore. He'd sign baseballs en mass. Everybody has an MM ball."

He said some other things about MM that I don't specifically remember.
