Yeah, the musical ep was really well done. I was impressed. The time it took to practice and get the dance moves down must have been insane. The singing was impressive, particularly by the actors playing La'An and Uhura. Both of them have very extensive musical theatre backgrounds, so that was logical, to coin a phrase, but still crazy impressive.

However, the Klingons rapping tickled my husband, son and I so much! I do recommend this 2nd season. There are some really powerful and meaningful episodes. I am looking forward to season 3.

that it's just a TV show and not to be taken seriously.

I thought the episode was awful. There are only ten eps per season, and they wasted one on this crap.

The music was good. The lyrics were clever. So what? I couldn't get past the silliness of it all. And then, I'm supposed to be scared of the Gorn in the next episode?

I could have done without this "set phasers to autotune" dross.

Just because you can do something, doesn't always mean it's a good idea.
