The government collectively fights against the gun lobby.

The second amendment is declared archaic and no longer relevant.

Manufacture and sales of guns and ammo are banned.

Guns in the hands of private citizens are taken away, by a buy back if necessary.

Licencing is tightened to the extent that due reasons for owning a gun is very restrictive.

Police get the power to enter without cause and remove guns from private property.

In short . . . . . . . . . . don't hold your breath.

So far, they don't want it to stop.

Further I believe the GOP likes the violence.
They get off on violence, chaos, division.
