is not the Count Chocula of my youth. It's changed, and not for the better.

My favorite was Boo Berry. It is also not the cereal it used to be.

It has "Frightful Friends Marshmallows" this year, which are spiders. It switched to whole grain in 2013. I had it last year and it tasted pretty good to me. The "legacy" monster cereals have a bit more sugar to maintain the same flavor, while the new addition "Carmella Creeper" is noticeably less sweet. It's still a good cereal, just not as indulgent as a monster cereal should be in my opinion. But the Count adds up!
