Wales Dragon's Back Race finished in Cardiff today and my buddy made it

6 days. North to South in Wales.
380km (236miles) and you have to hit several time check points each day.



This is why it’s called the Dragons Back. Lots of this.

Look at the drop off






Over night group tents and food is provided. Each persons gear bag is provided but must be under a certain weight.

He over 50 and spent 76 hours on the trail. His girlfriend did it in 61.

A guy said to me as we were climbing up to that ridge "i've never done a race where the race Director tried to kill his participants."

The fact it wasn't easy to see the scenery through all that muck likely added to their misery. Those are some sharp-toothed mountains.
