(22,527 posts)If popular culture used it as a pejorative, could it be used as an adjective. For example, if it became a superlative, one could say, "That's a bitch house," meaning it's an exceptionally great house. I'm not a grammarian by any stretch so I might be wrong! What I do know is that English is a constantly changing language and words can have many meanings and usages.
By the way, you needn't use asterisks to spell the word. After all, we're all (mostly) adults on this site!
Enjoy your weekend.

(117,936 posts)I use the asterisk because there are a number of people on this board who find the word upsetting or offensive (like Lucy Burns in "SUFFS", when they are singing "Great American Bitch" (my new theme song!), who starts to sing "I'm a great American. . . honestly, I just don't love that word."
I, on the oither hand, take it as a badge of honour, as I do the c-word (confuses the hell out of people when you thank them for honouring you when they use a word they intend to be insulting and demeaning). As a feminist activist my whole life, I have been called many names by people whose opinions matter not. It annoys the hell out of them.
And you enjoy your weekend as well.
