4. Whatever fits comfortably

I’m retired and live in jeans. I’ll not going to look “good” in any of them, so comfort is #1.

5. I think boot cut tends to be flattering for the greatest number of people. But YMMV. Good luck and have fun!

Back when we were going out dancing three or four times a week, it had to be boot cut. And some of the western clothing stores tailored the fit for women as well as men. It's been years since I could dance, and the boots had to go per doctor's orders. So, nowadays it's what fits, feels good, and doesn't look funny. Fashion plate I am not.

17. Up until October of 2023 I was wearing boot-cut or flares

Some of today's flares are about the size of the boot-cuts around the ankles and legs, however not all of them are.

I needed new sized jeans in October of 2023 and I momentarily went with skinny jeans. In the beginning of August I got my boot-cut jeans out to see what new size I needed. I just don't like the extra material around my ankles and the bottom of my legs since I've been wearing skinny jeans for almost a year now.

I explained my issue about the boot-cut/skinny jeans to my SO and he stated that he liked the skinny jeans on me better compared to the boot-cut.

My other gripe about boot-cuts is my regular store only has high waist or high high waist in boot-cut. I don't need my jeans going up to my breasts. I prefer medium waist pants.

I'm also losing weight so my body is changing and what once covered up problem areas is no longer a problem area.

I'm definitely going to need new jeans again soon. I find it exhausting shopping for clothing that both actually fits and that is in supply.

I don’t know what type of jeans she wears….her dress pants are just a flair style.
