Danny Elfman fronted the band. Fun fact, he couldn't read music. It wasn't until he did the score for Pee Wee's Big Adventure that he taught himself to read music.

everything else she sang. I took a roadtrip with my BFF a few years back and went to her hometown in NC, not that far from Asheville.

But her version isn't scary. Screamin' Jay is scary. You know he is a crazy mf!!

Monster Mash was fun. I was a late teen. My band played it even not near Halloween. About as a crowd pleaser as Free Bird and Wipe Out.
But I do like a lot from Thriller.
Just wish I could dance even a little. I think, memory sucks these days, I learned a little of the mash.

No free spirit was brave enough to exhibit creative kinetic expression.

Searching my memory banks, I recall it being played at such an occasion at my school not far from Midway Airport in Chicago (actually a small unincorporated area named Central Stickney).

from the show Dark Shadows. I was in grade school and middle school when it was on and I found the music to be spooky 👻.
