New Day Off Plan

On my day off last week my phone battery was almost dead and instead of charging it, I just let it die. Then I turned off my iPad. I was in a mood, lol. It turned out to be such a relaxing day! Those 2 devices are the only way people can contact me. So, I turned off both devices again last night in preparation for my day off today (Thursday). Again, I had a lovely, relaxing day! Played with the cats, slept as late as I liked, and also took a nap. We made a late dinner and just lounged. For internet I’ve been using an old, long disconnected phone that can still hook up to Wi-Fi. There are no social media apps on it, but I can read DU and Google any silly ideas/questions. No calls or texts are possible on it because it doesn’t have a working phone number. I have a FireTV so can watch goofy crap and free movies on YouTube. Sure, I’m still online but being cut off from all the noise and pressure of responding to calls, texts, and social media apps has taken away stress I didn’t realize I had.
