I'm home alone today, what mischief shall I get into....?

My wife is off to Reno for the day, getting the car serviced. I have a short list that I could do in the time it takes for her to drive home...

I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee and feeling feisty.

There's shenanigans to be had!

And do something that would be beneficial but I haven’t been able to get buy-in on from my significant other. Things I’ve done include rearrange furniture for a better traffic flow, paint anything that needs it, put up decorations, organize storage, purge the pantry/freezer/fridge of past unneeded/unused products, clean carpets, etc. OR do something solely for me that I feel guilty doing while other people are busy around me, like working on crafting jewelry or watercolor paintings.

I used to do those kind of things when he would go on business trips or I would take a lone vacation day. Now we both work from home so opportunities are few and far between.

I’ve been having thoughts similar to yours!

This afternoon, I’m golfing then dinner at the course’s restaurant.

This weekend will be full of carpentry as I finish rebuilding our deck down by the river. I love that project! I’ll probably BBQ with my neighbors.

Next week is a light work week so I’m still planning my own mischief!
