The picture of those wild cats (?) on the rocks -- I kept being surprised to find more cats because they blended in so well.
And "I rented out the basement" and whoopee cushion saddle bag! Ha!

That last pic with the Golden Retriever (or Yellow Lab) stole my heart. I want one so badly.

I went back and looked again. Finally found the fifth, but it took me a while.

I think that may be a litter of half grown kittens. They look kittenish to me, anyway. Either way, I live them!

this sorely-needed collection of awwwwwww and squeeeeee. The photos were outstaning. Loved "The Birds" one. I went to a lecture on Alfred Hitchcock on Friday night, and one of the stills was the one you used. Wishing you a wonderful and peaceful week.

The BYOB party cracked me up. A box? Not necessarily: Last night I was trying to read in bed on my iPad, which kept slipping down the pillow. I got up and took a newly laundered rug off a stack of newly laundered rugs and other items.

How did my cat know? He immediately jumped on the bed like I'd just opened a canister of nip. Inspecting the rug he gave me a look like, "You're gonna' have to share."

In no time at all he had taken over the rug.

I asked myself how I was going to get this cat off my rug. A box! I retrieved a box and put it on the bed for him.

The look I got made me burst out laughing. In fact it barely was a look. More like a half-opened eye saying "not falling for it."
